Anyone have one I can purchase, or doesn’t want, I’ve been searching for a 486c for months, I even have a forum post on VCF, I’m Compaq sniffer.

Just came across. I was a Systems engineer in Lotus UK, these were the machines we all had for doing demonstrations to customers. I ran OS/2 2.0 on mine, as it allowed me to demonstrate cc:Mail servers, routers and Notes all on the same box at the same time. It was a work beast. It was only a 640×480 screen, but it was crystal clear, and was perfectly adequate for playing games on.

I’m hoping to build a 3D printed replica of the Compaq Portable 486c, using either a Raspberry Pi or LattePanda board. It’d REALLY help to have dimensioned drawings since I don’t have an actual PC. Can anyone help?

In reply to Daniel. Daniel the bottom of (my) Compaq Portable 486c/66 displays "Series 2713" "FCC ID: CNT75MA99" on the bottom of the unit. Thank You retropaq for an excellent article write-up.
