Amazing write-up! Really glad Co-pilot/Bing suggested this as the top site.

Really curious about:

- CPU upgrades (68020/68030 most likely)
- RAM upgrade to 16MB (ultimateee modeeee for this board)
- Panel upgrades (higher res at current b&w level? Grayscale)
- The UNIX System V Release 1 source code (Motorola 68000 port) is running around out there. Will that work on here?!
- Any ports of the Gloworm OS, Xinu68K OS, or other modern UNIX-like OSes out there that will work?
- Does NetBSD have a working port?
- Any working Linux ports, even if it's bringing up an old uClinux port?
- What about older *NIX-on-Mac stuff like Mac06 Dsitri, or MachTen? Can those then be brought up to a newer kernel version?

So many questions!

I ended up not using the Macintosh Portable to charge the LiFePo4 battery as I'm not sure the existing charging circuitry is exactly compatible with the charging characteristics of the LiFePo4. To be safe, I would recommend charging it externally. Other than that it does last more than a 24 hours (though again I would not recommend putting your computer through this kind of endurance test...) Will update my contact form now. Haven't had time to post recently, sorry for not getting back to you sooner!

Heya, I'm curious about that LiFePO4 battery you're using. How has it lasted?
And how did you mount it? I'd like to do the same with mine.

Also, I tried to use your Contact form... but it appears to be broken!
